Vlad and Vikki Gorbich, who began the ensemble in 1998, love all genres of music, especially classical, inspiration, and American pop standards. "Joyful" is the word that audiences have used in describing the Kat Trio live in concert.

After five concert tours of the United States, performing hundreds of concerts from coast to coast and border to border (2000-2006), the Kat Trio made a decision in 2007 to pursue doctoral studies at one of the top music schools in the world - Arizona State University in Tempe.

May 2010, Victoria and Vladislav graduated with doctorates in music performance from ASU. They anticipate joining the music school staff at a US college or university very soon. They're touring during the summer of 2010 with Patrick Christians, a graduate of Michigan State University, as guest pianist. read more...
